While currently studying and researching PUMA in my current module it has caused me to change my interest in sports brands and sportswear.
I am a competing athlete for my home town Doncaster and I train 4-6 times a week. When I train I like to always completely wear and dedicate myself to one brand, this brand being ADIDAS. I buy a whole load of sporting equipment and kit such as running tops, tights, trainers, spikes and tracksuits. The reason I dedicated myself to the brand ADIDAS was because of the brand being the manufacturer of kits and sponsoring my football tram Manchester United as I bought the whole kit with matching boots, I like all my sports gear to match and I can never mix.
Then PUMA was my randomly picked brand given to me to research for this module. Now I have researched into the brand, seen their products and product information just by browsing their website I have ended up wanting to change my sports brand completely to PUMA. The technology, look and performance are completely better than ADIDAS in my personal opinion.
Now when I next get chance I will be buying every piece of sports equipment I already have from ADIDAS but just from its brother PUMA. I feel it’s a better brand for sports and with me being an athlete it seems perfect for me. In my opinion I see it as a brand that suits me and my personality more.
